Hello Wally, I hope you and the other companeros are all keeping well. The Hatch album sounds great and is constantly on in my car stereo. Let me know if you are planning any more sortees north of the border. If not I'll hopefully get to Fairview very soon. Eamonn has some great pictures from the night you and Tony played in the Dam. Have a good Easter and talk soon. KevinC |

Have listened to your (and Johnny) songs sung by Christy for many a year. I only recently bought a couple of your own albums - just wanted to say I'm loving your work man! Do you ever play gigs on the southside (drimnagh/crumlin ish) or is annesley house your regular. Must try nd catch one of your gigs |

Hi Wally,
Christy Moore guided me in your direction, and I’m very glad that he did! For me, your music is pure magic
It’s my belief that there are numerous artists around the world who have come from a backgrounds of struggle - cult muso's who, had circumstances been different, might easily have become household names.
I’ve set out to uncover who and where these people are.
My idea, ultimately, is to establish a website that will facilitate linkages between these various artists, encourage cross-marketing, increase world-wide awareness and hopefully start to persuade visitors to explore other artists apart from the one/s they are already familiar with, so that everyone gains. The central theme of the website will be resistance, rebellion, revolution (and reconciliation?). They're emotive concepts that mobilise people. I'm hoping to be able to transform the loyalty and commitment that exists towards one artist into a similar loyalty and commitment to a number of ideologically (and hopefully, stylistically) similar artists.
I’m hoping that you would be interested in involving yourself in this project. You (or visitors to your site) can contact me on mwibent@mweb.co.za
Ian
